Purple & Pure Brand Highlight

Purple & Pure is Local, Women-led, Artisanal, Sustainable and Socially Responsible.

Purple & Pure Story

Purple & Pure was started by Ankita, who moved to Singapore in 2017 when her husband got a transfer here from Australia.

Knowing the devastating impact of plastic pollution, Ankita decided to join a movement to reduce plastic consumption by offering sustainable alternatives. She started Purple & Pure after having her first child with the aim of helping people to find eco-friendly, plastic-free essentials in their everyday life.

Purple & Pure started with a line of grocery bags, tote bags and multipurpose pouches made with organic cotton that are perfect for shopping at the supermarket. Today, there is a wide variety of everyday items offered at Purple & Pure, such as plantable stationery and relaxing incense sticks.

Why the name ‘Purple & Pure’? The purple colour symbolizes magic, Ankita wanted to do some magic to save the purest things on our planet, and hence the name.

Join Purple & Pure in the journey to a Zero-waste lifestyle. Even the smallest of changes we make every day can have a big impact on our future.
