PerfectTed is started by Levi, Marisa and Teddie.

Used to work in Finance, they consumed copious amounts of coffee throughout the day to keep up with the hours. But, they grew tired of the jitters, the crashes, and the gross coffee breath. That’s when they turned to matcha - a longer-lasting and healthier caffeine alternative.

They tried the few matcha powders & drinks on the market, but the powders were grassy & bitter, and the drinks were full of additives and sweeteners, and used low-quality matcha. So they spent 6 months obsessively sourcing the highest quality organic, ceremonial grade matcha from farms across Uji, Japan, until they finally found not just the best tasting and highest quality matcha but also sustainable farmers who treat their people and the environment well.

Then they worked with an R&D lab to figure out how to make a drink shelf-stable and great tasting with the fewest possible ingredients. It needed to be PERFECT.

In April 2021, they launched on kickstarter and were 100% funded in under a day! Now, with their customers, they'd like to write the next chapter of the PerfectTed story.
